Why take a paediatric first aid course?
Infants and young children can quickly find themselves in emergency situations: choking, falls, burns, convulsions or respiratory distress.
At such times, knowing how to react can help protect the child and ensure effective action until help arrives.
This training course will help you acquire the right reflexes to deal with the most frequent emergency situations affecting infants and children.

What will you learn during the course?
During the course, you will learn to :
- rapidly assess an emergency situation and ensure safety
- recognizing an emergencies in infants and children
- intervene in case of choking
- perform pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- use an automated defibrillator (AED)
- act in case of burns, trauma or convulsions
- recognize certain signs of discomfort or acute illness in children
- effectively alert emergency services
The gestures are explained step-by-step and practiced during training, so you can act with confidence in an emergency situation.
You’ll leave with the right reflexes to protect a child in an emergency.

How does the course work?
Training takes place over one day of training.
